Can Noctua NH-D15 fit in LANCOOL 205?

Noctua NH-D15 : Width 161 mm / Height 165 mm.
NH-D15 could not fit in with Lancool 205 ATX.

What kind of screws go in to the standoffs for the motherboard?

The screw is M3 thread x Length 6.5mm.

How much is the clearance of the front radiator mounting space?

If assemble the radiator behind the front removable
fan bracket, the max thickness (with fan) would be 46.6mm.

The clearance for top radiator with fans is 55mm (max.)

Can't find accessory box in LANCOOL II.

Push M button 7 times that comes to the 8th mode to sync the motherboard.

Type-C installation holes are too large on both sides to screw in.

Please screw the top one from the other side

A CPU air cooler within 120mm wide would fit.

Can I utilize the reserved ARGB cable from front IO for AIO pump ARGB LEDs?

Yes, the reserved ARGB header from front IO could be used for not just LED strip. With the help of adaptor included in Galahad AIO, you could connect the reserved ARGB output with AIO pump ARGB connector.

Can I use splitters and connect more fans to front IO?

Yes, the ARGB connector on the front IO supports up to 90 LED beads. Each LANCOOL II Mesh ARGB fans has 8 beads. 

UNI FAN can't fit on top of the PSU shroud.

You have to install the UNI FAN seperatly to fit on the PSU shroud.

A CPU air cooler within 120mm wide would fit.

UNI FAN SL

Which fan header shall I connect to?

  • Recommend you connect the controller’s PWM cable to the system/chassis fan header (not the CPU nor pump fan header).
  • You could wire the fan’s PWM cable to the CPU header directly if you use UNI FANs for your AIO.

Which software shall I download ? L-Connect or L-Connect 2?

For controllers that has SL mark, please use L-Connect 2 to control SL fans.
For controllers that has no mark, please use L-Connect or follow guidebook Situation 2 (p.12~18) to update firmware of SL controller to use L-Connect 2 to control.

How to check if UNI FAN is connected to PC or not?

- Check your [Computer Management] → [Device Manager]
- If your MB detected UNI FAN, it would show [LIAN LI] under [Universal Serial Bus Device]
- If there are error under [Universal Serial Bus Controllers], please contact your MB company for help.
-Check if all 3 cables of the controller are correctly connected to the MB. Switch another USB2.0 header if necessary.

I don't have enough RGB port and I don’t want my fans sync to MB, do I need to connect the 5V ARGB cable?

If you are not connecting 5V ARGB cable from the controller, you can only control the RGB from L-Connect.

I am using a Asus motherboard, device maneger detected LIAN LI, but L-Connect can't control the fan.

Please donwload the following software to remove ASUS Armoury Crate software from your computer before you install Lconnect .

After you remove it , please restart your computer ,and install L-connect app.

Run the L-connect ,and see if the ARGB can be control .

I connected SL140, but the fan speed on L-Connect appears as the fan speed of SL120. Did L-Connect detected the right device?detected the right device?

The fan speed of SL appears as the fan speed of SL120 no matter connected to a SL140 or SL120.

The new UNI FAN SL comes with a sticker, can I get an extra one or buy one?

Fan stickers are not available seperatly.

I'm using AMD X570 & B550 mobo and can't control L-Connect

Please go to your brand motherboard website to update BIOS, the version in the BIOS shall include“AMD AGESA ComboV2 1.2.0.2

Copy your [L-Connect] to [Startup] file

Can't control fan lighting via L-Connect, and have installed ASUS Armoury Crate software.

There might be some blocks between the software. Following steps guides you to solve the block.

  1. Remove your L-Connect 2
  2. Please download https://dlcdnets.asus.com/pub/ASUS/mb/14Utilities/Armoury_Crate_Uninstall_Tool.zip to uninstall ASUS Armoury Crate software
  3. Restart your PC
  4. Install L-Connect 2 and run to test if all the fan lighting and speed can be controlled
  5. If yes, please install back ASUS Armoury Crate software https://dlcdnets.asus.com/pub/ASUS/mb/14Utilities/ArmouryCrateInstallTool.zip

How to control LED strip/ Galahad AIO by L-Connect?

Please use ARGB Cable Kits to connect other ARGB products to UNI HUB for L-Connect to control the LED color.

I have connected my UNI FAN SL120, but L-Connect 2 didn't detect device.

  1. Check device managers :
    if detected LianLi or LianLi-UNI FAN-SL-v1.0
    or LianLi-UNI FAN-SL-v1.1 , please update firmware.
  2. L-Connect 2 Error:Controller is not detected.

There might be some conflicting software in the system while installing the fan speed controlling. Please exit L-Connect from the bottom right and install Fan_Hal from here alone.
